Instant CloudMove is a comprehensive migration & modernization solution for moving applications from a client/server environment to .NET and HTML5 Web, Cloud or Mobile environment. The solution is composed of The AssessmentTool and The Transposition Studio to form a comprehensive migration & modernization solution that is far more efficient and cost-effective than any other migration or rewrite solution.
Effort & Cost Certainty
A Free AssessmentTool tells you what portion of the code can automatically transfer (usually around 95%) and assists in evaluating the scope of the mapping work within the tool required for transposing an existing application. This translates into time and money by the Gizmox migration experts when .
Translation into raw .NET
Upon loading the legacy code to the Transposition Studio it is automatically analyzed, its dependencies are discovered, and an integrity check is performed. As a result, about 95% of the code is automatically translated into raw .NET due to the out-of-the-box definitions. This stage is similar to other code parsers and converters, but as opposed to shifting to external rewrite tools, Instant CloudMove continues to provide integrated smart tools in Visual Studio environment through the end.
Full Control & Flexibility
The unmapped items that could not be automatically translated are indicated and can be mapped in this Visual Studio 2010 environment. This is done using a sophisticated mapping mechanism to link between the source and the target environment by defining patterns to the entire code or individual code items. Customizing existing mapping expressions is also possible.
Automatic Code Transposition
The existing set of mapping expressions is used to automatically migrate each item in the source code to a matching item in the target code, until the entire application is transposed to the target HTML5 Web, Cloud or Mobile environment.
No Compromises
An Iterative Workflow allows repeating the process again and again (adding new mapping expressions and customizing existing ones) until the result is satisfying. Reverting back to previous code versions is possible at any time as well.
